Well, we have several people. Most are from the UK, but others come from places all over the planet. So as well as having different accents, we all have different perspectives and experiences. These can be very useful when we go into problem solving mode for a client.
Our MD is very clever. He's the one who goes on and on and on about branding. Brand this. Brand that. Corporate identity. Consistency. Differentiation. Return on investment. After a while, it washes over you. But clients love it because he listens before he opens his mouth, and then he talks to them in a way that they get it.
Our Technical Director comes from a land down under and stands for no nonsense. He'll tell you he was doing Flash before Flash was around, and that he invented the Internet. It's not true, of course, but he HAS been designing and building websites and ebusiness-solution things for about 15 years. So it's fair to say he knows his stuff. He'll tell you that himself. Because he's anything but shy.
And we have a Creative Director (get us!). He's much more timid than the technical one, but the more time they spend together, the more he's coming out of his shell. He used to be a marketing manager, one of those spreadsheet gurus for a big retail brand. But he got fed up of having his ideas shackled to a desk and broke free to express himself. Now he draws pictures for a living. That's progress.
There are others in the nerv house, and you can meet them when you come over to play. The only thing we ask is that you refrain from feeding them. They are on special diets which help us get the best out of them, and we'd hate the wrong food to affect them adversely.
